Use the pressed Bellis Daisy edible flower whole, as a decoration on sweet and savoury plates and cakes. The flowers work particularly well on a range of baked goods, including cupcakes, larger celebration cakes, cakesicles, and biscuits.
As well as using the flowers whole, the petals can also be pulled from the flower head. Pulling the petals from just one head will leave you with masses of petals to play with. These can be individually sprinkled as ‘confetti’ on cakes and plates.
Bellis Daisies can also be frozen into ice cubes for cocktails and summer drinks. Pressed flowers are effective as drinks garnishes as they don’t take on as much liquid as fresh flowers.
