A party tub (also known as a drinks pail or beer cooler) is a large container, usually made from metal or plastic, which is filled with ice and used to rest and chill beverage bottles and cans. Party tubs are most commonly used at large social gatherings as a convenient way to chill alcoholic drinks without the need for a fridge.
