Flair
Glossary of Terms
Flair is a style of bartending (also known as flairing, extreme bartending or flairtending) which involves tricks and techniques using bar equipment with the aim to entertain the audience. Flair tricks often involve juggling and flipping bar equipment and liqueur bottles, and manipulating flaming liquids. When flair is used in cocktail bars it is known as working flair, often used to entertain customers while making a mixed drink, while exhibition flair is much more focused on competing in flair competitions to win prizes.
